Minimum battery, maximum autonomy!
As proof, the firm with the star is currently working on a prototype capable of traveling more than 1,000 km with a charge, ie a third more than the EQS. Its name: Vision EQXX. This concept, both aesthetic and technological, will be revealed on January 3, 2022 as part of CES in Las Vegas. Mercedes makes us wait with some pictures teasers showing a sedan with fluid lines. High efficiency motors coming soon
However, for the engines of the production models, the German firm has just acquired Yasa, a British specialist in axial flow technology. This technology, Mercedes plans to offer it on its most efficient models. As announced in its electrification strategy, sports versions will also switch to 100% electric and will use one of the three future technical bases developed by Mercedes, named AMG.EA.
