Remember: on September 26, 2019, a major fire broke out in the Lubrizol factory in Rouen. This factory, which manufactured and stored chemicals, was classified “Seveso high threshold” (that is to say “at risk of major accident”) by the European Union.
If, for the CEO of the Lubrizol plant, the fire was not “more toxic than a house fire”, the first results of health surveys are less reassuring. Thus, according to the Limoges CHU laboratory (which published a first report on Thursday, October 31, 2019), the breast milk and urine of 9 mothers in the Rouen region contain traces of hydrocarbons – ethylbenzene, toluene and xylene, in particular.
The analyzes began on Monday, October 7, 2019, when 9 mothers or pregnant women (aged 25 to 35) accepted the taking of samples of milk and urine in the presence of a bailiff within the CHU of Rouen. Ironically, that same day, the Regional Health Agency (ARS) affirmed that it was “not justified to question breastfeeding in Rouen” …
There is a “permeability of bodily fluids to pollution and toxins”
According to Me Saliha Blalouz, lawyer in Rouen and initiator of the process, it is too early to draw conclusions from these analyzes because “these rates must be compared, in particular with milk which could have been stored by freezing before the disaster” .
Analyzes show, however, that there is a “permeability of body fluids to pollution and toxins. It is always worrying, because we want to give our child the best and it is difficult to accept that our milk may contain benzene. . “
The 9 mothers concerned declare want to file a complaint against X for endangering the life of others.
