December 24, 2015. Little Jaxon was born in August 2014 with a sickness extremely rare and disabling : the micro-hydranencephaly. While the doctors gave him no more than a week to live, the little one celebrated his first birthday and this year was able to meet Father Christmas for the first time. The images her mother posted on Facebook of this meeting went around the world and moved all Internet users.
The micro-hydranencephaly with which little Jaxon is affected is a malformation who touches the brain and which manifests itself by a brain cavity almost non-existent. Instead of cortex, of the white substance and often ganglia basic, we find a liquid substance.
If the intellectual and motor development of children affected by this sickness are often greatly altered, which prevents them from evolving normally, they can to breathe and have a heart which beats thanks to brainstem.
Moreover, Jaxon’s mother who posted the photos explains that she felt her son happy and excited the day he met Santa Claus. That it was probably the best day of his life.
Only one thing to say about this moving testimony: Merry Christmas Jaxon!
