The lack of chrome gives the car a dark appearance
With Halloween just around the corner, Lexus thought the LC could use an extra touch of sinister. And damn it, what does the already beautiful LC say well. Officially, the brand calls this the Lexus LC Black Inspiration. The package is mainly optical and removes almost all the chrome, places black accents in its place and mounts a spoiler on the back. There is also a carbon fiber roof and 21-inch wheels.
What engine is in it?
The Lexus LC Black Inspiration is available as the LC 500h with the hybrid powertrain or as the LC 500 with the thoroughbred V8 engine. Obviously you want the latter with 477 horsepower and a 0-100 time of 4.7 seconds. But in itself, the V6 hybrid with 359 hp and a 0-100 time of 5 seconds cannot be labeled as scanty. The dark version always leaves the factory with a Mark Levinson audio system and the power seats.
Can I order the Lexus LC Black Inspiration?
The question of whether this version will also come to the Netherlands is still with Lexus. Otherwise you will have to go to a wrapper to hide all the chrome. Although he’s ready for Halloween with his looks, the car can’t make it there in time. The prices (at least abroad) will not be announced until next month. The regular LC 500h costs at least 127,145 euros in the Netherlands. If you want the V8, you have to count on at least 165,545 euros.
