I exercise quite a lot, I go for a run four times a week and I work out twice a week. No complaints, only I notice that I get slower as I get older. I wondered if it makes sense to have a sports massage on a regular basis. Not only does that look delicious to me, but maybe it also helps with the removal of waste?

A sports massage can be useful, but don’t expect miracles. Massage is an age-old tradition, yet few scientific studies prove its effectiveness. You write that you slow down, which makes sense as your age progresses. You will not be able to solve this with a sports massage.
However, massage often has a relaxing effect and that in itself is of course a good reason to have a massage on a regular basis…
