According to the latest epidemiological bulletin from the National Institute for Public Health Surveillance (INVS), the number of cases of influenza A / H1N1 amounts to 19 in France.
In addition, 19 other people are being followed to find out whether their symptoms are those of influenza A / H1N1 or not.
So far, no severe form of the disease has been observed in France. “Several episodes of suspected grouped cases were investigated, all searches for A / H1N1 were negative”, also specifies the INVS.
Elsewhere in Europe, notably in Spain and the United Kingdom, the number of confirmed cases continues to rise.
