To help him, adopt a good playful storage system.
Children’s toys can quickly take up a lot of space. As soon as he walks, however, he is able to start putting his toys away. If at the beginning you have to guide him, teaching him to tidy up also develops his sense of responsibility and organization.
Make storage fun
Many children complain about putting their toys away because it’s a boring moment after a fun moment. To motivate them, try to make this time more fun by helping them develop their sense of responsibility and organization.
For this you can for example use one of his favorite toys which becomes responsible for the other toys. By continuing the game in this way, he can make tidying up a fun time and not a punishment.
Other scenarios are also possible, such as making objects disappear by being a magician or racing to get it done as quickly as possible, always congratulating him when he has succeeded. You can also do this with music or a song to make the activity more enjoyable.
Find a good organization
Helping your child to tidy up also means giving him easy access to storage bins with images pasted on them, for example, to guide him. You can also hang pockets or accessories on the wall at his height so that he can easily slide the smallest objects or figurines. Make sure he is able to grab and put all his toys back in their place, as it is obvious that he is handling objects that are too heavy.
