If you and your friends have cars with similar performance and you can drive about as well, you can have a lot of fun at the Nürburgring. Not that a day of Touristenfahren is the best place to race against each other (in fact, it’s forbidden), but you can ride together nicely. It is important to keep enough distance from each other, no matter how tempting and entertaining close racing may also be. Because if you drive close behind your buddy, you can’t really see what’s happening ahead.
This group of Subaru’s saw the yellow flags on the Nürburgring in 2014 just a little too late. One of the Subaru’s can dodge the vehicle in front for a bit through the grass, but the other loses its grip and makes a slide. With a lot of luck and probably with a bit of driving skills, he manages to keep his Subaru out of the crash barriers. We hope he likes dubstep, because it’s going to be a fun trip back to England with a flat side on the tapes. It does make for a nice video, with even nicer reactions from the two filming drivers.
