That won’t fit, of course, so the (compared to a real) small Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin might be a better solution.
Nowadays there is plenty to choose from if you want a somewhat smarter living room speaker. A simple bluetooth unit has long ceased to be cool. No, a unit that listens to you is much more fun. With the functionality of Siri, Alexa or Google Home, a speaker can also listen to your commands.

What if you combine that power with a renowned audio brand that makes it a stylish thing? Then you get the modernized Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin. This speaker is shaped like a, well, Zeppelin (or a really big cigar). There isn’t much to the design other than just being simple and stylish. And since we are talking about a good audio brand, the sound will also be fine.
smart speaker
As mentioned, the market for a home speaker that plays ‘normal’ sound is shrinking a bit. Hence the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin is now supported by Amazon Alexa. Okay, it’s not necessarily an Alexa that can do everything for you, but calling a number from the speaker from a distance is possible. The Zeppelin also supports everything else: you can operate it with the apps from Spotify, Deezer, TIDAL, Qobuz, Apple Airplay, B&W’s own app or simply your phone with Bluetooth. Unfortunately, the commands for Alexa have to be given in English for the time being, because Dutch is not supported.
The 6 kilogram Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin, which by the way is about 65 centimeters wide and 21 centimeters high, can be a nice addition to your stylish living room. Available in black or gray and it costs 799 dollars (690 euros). Assuming that that price will be 700 euros in the Netherlands, you are slightly more expensive than the outgoing Zeppelin, although it did have less functionality.
