We know ESET from their commercial antivirus software, but the company also offers freeware that goes by the name SysInspector. This program checks many aspects of your system such as running processes, the registry, drivers, network connections, scheduled tasks and system-critical files. When the scan is finished, you will receive an overview of the findings, with a color ranging from green to red in 9 gradations. This way you can see which aspects the inspector considers risky. Don’t panic if the verdict is ‘unknown’, at least you can google it.
