There are plenty of programs to play your media collection, but few that can manage that collection. Kodic is a pleasant exception. The great strength of Kodi lies not so much in its ability to process photos, videos and audio files in many formats, but in the fact that this open source program is actively developed and can therefore be expanded with hundreds of add-ons. These range from programs that allow you to view the content of various online video services and TV channels to apps that download lyrics and subtitles.
