The history of arcade games started with Pong (1972). In 1976 the logical sequel came in the form of Breakout, in which the ball was not beaten back and forth between two players by means of a bat, but a player had to break down a wall with it. And then there were the aliens from Space Invaders (1978) that had to be shot as they slowly descended. Combine those last two classics and you get Endless Balls, in which you have to destroy piles of blocks that slowly threaten to crush you. Retro gaming is thus given a nice new look.
