To overcome the shortage of semiconductors, Ford is again launching a special private series of integrated GPS and digital instrumentation. Called ST-Line Design, this finish is available from €27,850.
Semiconductor shortages continue to plague the automotive industry, and the crisis in Ukraine is not helping. With some manufacturers, delivery times are getting longer. For others, prices are rising. To face it, Ford revises the equipment of its Puma downwards by renewing a special finish called ST-Line Design, available from €27,850. At the beginning of the year, the brand with the blue oval had already offered this same version, limited to 1,600 units.
No GPS or digital counters
This special series is based on the ST-Line finish. It therefore takes over the main equipment, apart from the integrated navigation system and the 12.3-inch digital instrumentation. Instead of the latter, there are good old needle counters, as well as a 4.2-inch display. However, if the absence of GPS is to be deplored, it is worth pointing out that the infotainment system on an 8-inch screen still includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, allowing you to use your smartphone to navigate.
As far as the engine offer is concerned, the Puma ST-Line Design is only marketed with the 125 hp 1.0 Flexifuel Hybrid block, equipped with a light hybridization and compatible with E85. An engine introduced in the range at the start of 2022. The urban SUV comes automatically with a six-speed manual gearbox and in Magnetic grey, the only color available.
