Stripes are not only expensive when you draw them over the asphalt
Where a little muscle car here costs enough to close the gap in the state budget, in America they are often reasonably priced. Converted, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 costs 60,000 euros in America. Here the price would be so high that Ford does not offer it. That does not mean that everything about the GT500 is reasonable. There is now a Ford Mustang GT500 Heritage Edition.
The package on the GT500 costs just under 2,000 euros, which is still doable. Then you get the paint color Brittany Blue with which the 1967 Mustang was also delivered. Those stripes you see have been pasted on. But if you would like Ford to spray the stripes on the car and therefore make it part of the paint, then you suddenly have to pay more than 10,000 euros extra (again, converted). Spicy. They are just as expensive on the Ford GT.
Specifications Ford Mustang GT500 Heritage Edition
The Heritage Edition remains the same mechanically. That means a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 with 770 hp and 847 Nm. The 0-100 time is 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 290 km/h. The bumpers, spoilers and rims are the same as the regular version. Brittany Blue looks really good on it by the way.
