A set of digital sketches of an enthusiast
Last week we found out that the Honda Integra is going to make a comeback. Apart from a plague, nothing is known about the new coupé. This gives enthusiasts plenty of space to digitally elaborate their dream Honda Integra Type R. This is the creation of Jordan Rubinstein-Towler. Not only did he create a bunch of tasty graphics, he also came up with the engine specs.
This dreamed-up Honda Integra Type R looks very modern, but bears clear characteristics of previous generations. The nose is especially reminiscent of the third generation, while the rear also clearly winks at the fourth generation Integra. In the front, according to Jordan, is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with VTEC and without turbo. The power should be around 280 hp, which of course goes to the front wheels via a manual gearbox. You can see that they are not real photos by the fact that the red has not yet peeled off the valve cover.
The new Honda Integra Type R is light
The weight of this unofficial concept car is about 1,200 kilos. The hood, roof and tailgate are said to be made of carbon fiber to keep weight down. The interior is minimalist and would not look out of place in a Lotus Elise. As a sporty addition, Jordan mounts buttons to start the engine and select riding modes on the steering wheel. Can Honda put this idea for an Integra Type R of yours into production one-on-one?
