The childhood vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus and polio (DT Polio) is mandatory. Each infant receives two injections of the vaccine at 2 months and 4 months, followed by a booster at 11 months.
Also, when a young 8-year-old boy was hospitalized for several weeks in Tours (Indre-et-Loire) after a fall, because he was has tetanus, several hypotheses have been raised. Hadn’t the child’s body been able to make antibodies? Or was the vaccination certificate in his health record a fake?
A first 18-month ban on practice
After opening an investigation, it appeared that the pediatrician of the child, known for his opposition to the “vaccine dogma”, had signed a vaccination certificate of convenience (we certify that we made the vaccine but we do not does not). Last December, the homeopathic doctor was therefore banned from practicing for a period of 18 months.
A sanction not severe enough for the Regional Health Agency of Center-Val-de-Loire and the Departmental Council of Doctors who appealed against this decision. The ordinary national disciplinary chamber has therefore just pronounced the removal of the homeopathic pediatrician from the table of the Order of Physicians, we learn in the New Republic.
