Stéphane Kox replaces Jack Plooij and three regular table guests will come
The Dutch coverage of the F1 races in 2022 on Viaplay is starting to take shape. In addition to the commentary by Nelson Valkenburg and Melroy Heemskerk, Amber Brantsen will be responsible for the studio presentation. Today parent company NENT announces the regular table guests. Tom Coronel, Christijan Albers and Giedo van der Garde line up to discuss the race weekends.
Expert on the track at the F1 program on Viaplay
One other expert from Viaplay will be present at the track. David Coulthard, Mika Häkkinen and Tom Kristensen were roped in for this task. They will alternate each weekend. The other familiar faces from Ziggo F1 Cafe don’t seem to go along with the move. Perhaps Ziggo will come up with its own program.
Stéphane Kox will be the pit reporter
At the moment Jack Plooij is still roaming the pit lanes looking for exciting quotes during the race, but that task will be taken over by Stéphane Kox in 2022. The 27-year-old driver and presenter can now be found behind the wheel a lot, but will exchange her helmet for a microphone next year. She currently drives for Toyota, among others. First, she will participate in the 1000 Laps of Bahrain and the 6 Hours of Abu Dhabi in a Porsche 911 GT3 R with Kox Racing, together with her father Peter Kox.
