F1 22 chooses for you: Max Verstappen or Lewis Hamilton the best?

Racing game F1 22 has revealed the in-game qualities of arch-rivals Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. The conclusion is clear.

In the run-up to the release of F1 22, EA is announcing the ratings of all drivers for this season. There is a clear reflection of the relationships between arch-rivals Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. Both drivers are just as good in terms of score. But our Max does get a very big benefit of the doubt.

F1 22 will be released on July 1 for PC, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

From the driver ratings below for the upcoming formula 1game shows Hamilton and Verstappen getting the exact same Overall score. So, on average, the two are practically just as good. The score can still change during the season. Just like in FIFA, this happens based on the real performance of the athletes.

But if you dive deeper into the numbers, it turns out that despite a much lower score in two of the categories, Verstappen still gets an equally high Overall score. Actually, based on his Experience and Awareness ratings, Verstappen should get a much lower score. But everyone knows that the Dutchman can win hard despite his age and experience.

At the same time, Hamilton only scores slightly lower on Racecraft and Pace. With that, F1 22 says that Hamilton respectively finishes less high than where he starts and takes longer on average over a lap.
