Take-Two Interactive, the owner of Rockstar Games, recently presented its annual results. In the PDF Take-Two’s servers also have a page with games that are still in the pipeline and will be released by March 2022 at the latest. The page lists six “new iterations of previous releases.” One of which is GTA V for the new generation of consoles and another is GTA Online Standalone. The third is the game Kerbal Space Program for the latest generation of consoles. Three others are still unnamed.
Evidence for remaster of GTA Vice City and San Andreas?
According to fans, this would be concrete evidence that a remaster of GTA Vice City, San Andreas and GTA III. It would fit right in with previous rumors of reissues of the three classic games. In the document, Take-Two defines new iterations of previous releases as “ports and remastered titles.” The document emphasizes that successors to games (sequels) do not fit into this category.
Whatever it may be
Of course we also hope for a remaster of the old games, including a new online addition. Or maybe as an extension for GTA Online. Given the list of games, it wouldn’t surprise us if it were other PS4 titles coming to the PS5. For instance LA Noire, or perhaps even more obvious, Red Dead Redemption 2. In any case, the announcement can’t take years anymore – we wait patiently.
