What about non-alcoholic beer? Is that also a fattener because of the sugars or is that a good alternative to beer?

Beer is a typical fattener, but alcohol-free beer can be too. It is, after all, an extra.
Note: Different brands contain different amounts of calories. Some types of non-alcoholic beer provide half the calories in beer. That makes a big difference in comparison. There are types of non-alcoholic beer that also provide fewer calories than cola. Other brands contain more sugars and are just as high in calories as sugary soft drinks. Check the label to calculate the number of calories per glass. An ordinary beer glass easily contains 250 centilitres.
Save big
Compared to regular beer, you can save a lot on your calorie intake with the right non-alcoholic beer. A 250 centiliter glass of beer contains about 115 kilocalories. A glass of non-alcoholic beer contains 65 calories. If you only drink tap water, you will not get any calories at all.
