A study carried out in February and March on the initiative of health professionals from Franche-Comté and carried out among 1,900 liberal doctors in the region provides a quantified overview of this mismanagement: two hours a week would be wasted because of these appointments. – you not canceled, i.e. between 6 and 8 consultations per health professional.
On the scale of Franche-Comté, the region where the survey took place, this amounts to a loss of 500,000 consultations per year in the region. Extrapolating to France, this would make 28 million lost consultations according to an estimate made by The Parisian which unveils the study. This shortfall would amount to 742 million euros for all French doctors.
