Reopening of stadiums and racetracks on July 11
Regarding life in business, the Ministry of Labor and that of Solidarity and Health are looking into the simplification of the national health protocol, as requested by the Medef and the CPME in particular in mid-June.
From a general point of view, the main restrictions still in force should be lifted on July 11, when the state of health emergency comes to an end. Thus, the stadiums and racetracks will reopen to the public, and will accommodate a maximum of 5,000 people.
Nevertheless, all activities involving more than 1,500 must be declared, “so that compliance with the necessary precautions can be guaranteed”. In addition, river cruises will again be authorized. On the other hand, the question of sea cruises between European ports has yet to be decided.
A month of September marked by new relaxations
A new examination of the epidemiological situation in France will take place in mid-July. Objective: to estimate the possibility of a relaxation for the second part of August concerning the limit on gatherings of 5,000 people. For the time being, it is maintained until 1er September. Similarly, the lifting of the ban on combat sports should be studied before the start of the school year.
At last, “subject to a new assessment of the epidemiological situation”, the month of September could be synonymous with the reopening of establishments hosting fairs, exhibitions and shows. The same should be true for nightclubs and international cruise ships.
