The date initially planned for the vaccination against Covid-19 of French people aged 18 and over, without comorbidities, was June 15. According to Prime Minister Jean Castex, they will finally be able to be vaccinated before this date.
When will French adults be able to be vaccinated against Covid-19?
Traveling on May 20 to a vaccination center in Seine-Saint-Denis, Jean Castex announced the acceleration of the vaccination campaign. Initially, the date scheduled in the vaccination schedule was June 15, for all French people over the age of 18. People of this age in good health will finally be able to be vaccinated against the coronavirus as of May 31.
In addition, professionals in priority sectors, such as those in the education sector, law enforcement or firefighters can receive an injection, regardless of their age.
As a reminder, as of May 20, more than 21.5 million French people have received at least one dose of vaccine against Covid-19. The goal is to reach 30 million French people immunized by mid-June. The government wants all adult volunteers to be vaccinated against the coronavirus by the end of the summer.
