Why Doctor, as part of a partnership with CEGEDIM, is able to publish a weekly barometer of the evolution of the Covid-19 epidemic in France. An essential indicator to measure the real effect of the deconfinement started since May 11. The curves resume a downward trend.
The number of consultations on new cases with presumptive Covid is decreasing compared to last week. The number of second consultations for the same patient is also decreasing.
“We have thus confirmed that the increase in the week of the 11th came from the transfer of diagnoses to general medicine and we were able to confirm that the request for tests made by patients increases the presumption of Covid by at least 7%, the proportion of laboratory examination requests remaining stable in relation to the number of cases detected”, specifies Jean-Claude Labrune, CEO of CEGEDIM.
