From May 3, it is possible to travel over 10 and 30 km around your home, during the day, without proof. However, the exceptional travel certificate is still essential to go out between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The curfew still in effect
Indeed, the curfew measures must always be respected. To go out during the curfew, you must therefore bring the certificate. After filling in the contact details such as last name, first name or even address, you must choose one of the following six reasons:
- Professional activity, education and training (travel between home and the place of training), general interest mission;
- Health (consultation, care, vaccination, purchase of drugs);
- Compelling family reason, assistance to vulnerable people, childcare, disability situation;
- Judicial or administrative summons, procedures that cannot be carried out remotely;
- Travel related to transfers or transits from stations or airports as part of long-distance journeys;
- Short trips for the needs of pets (within a radius of 1 kilometer around the home).
As a reminder, a fine of 135 € can be given in the event of non-compliance with this measure.
When does the curfew end?
The President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, addressed the regional press to give the stages of deconfinement on Thursday, April 29. He announced that the curfew would begin at 9 p.m. on May 19, 11 p.m. on June 9, to be fully lifted on June 30.
