The secrets of coriander
In addition to spicing up your dishes, coriander is also a source of vitamins. Indeed, this aromatic herb contains vitamin A and of vitamin K. While the former is beneficial for the skin, the latter is essential for bone health. Vitamin K also plays an important role in blood coagulation, it limits the risk of bleeding.
Moreover, due to its vitamin K content, coriander (taken in too large quantities) is not recommended for people on anticoagulant treatment. Also, this plant is sometimes deprecated for a surprising reason: some people will say that this aromatic herb has a “soapy” taste. They can always turn to flat-leaf parsley.
If you’re on the other side, you’ve probably noticed that cilantro can be found all year round. Be aware though that the full season of this grass begins in April and extends until August. For the choice of the bouquet, rely on the color! The leaves must be very green, so without yellowing, and they must not wither.
