This sharp drop is observed regardless of the age of the patients, but is more systematic in young women aged 15 to 19.
At the same time, the sale of 1st and 2nd generation pills stabilized over this same period and increased by 22% in March 2013 compared to March 2012. The most significant increase (+ 32%) was observed among 15-19 age groups. years. The increase is exclusively due to the increase in sales of 1st and 2nd generation oral contraceptives with the lowest estrogen content.
