What do the French think of connected objects applied to health? This is the question a Phr / Ifop study attempted to answer by surveying 1,001 people aged 18 and over. Result: 13% of young people aged 18 to 24 were won over. They are the first users of connected health objects according to the conclusions of the study, reported by the agency Relaxnews.
But if 77% of them are not afraid to exchange their data with health professionals, progress remains to be made from the point of view of decryption. In fact, only 10% of people surveyed indicated that they were able to understand and interpret the information delivered by connected objects.
Optimized health monitoring
Fortunately, a lot of connected tools don’t need this kind of information to be useful. Moreover, the French have understood this well. Almost 80% of the people questioned recognize that the monitoring of their health can be optimized by these accessories. And 59% believe they can even improve prevention.
All you have to do is equip yourself with the connected health object that best suits your needs: smart pillbox, fork which helps to regulate its caloric intake, belt equipped with a sensor to fight against back pain … the choice is wide!
