When we get out of bed: we make them move
These simple exercises revive blood circulation and contract the muscles that will produce heat and distribute it throughout the body … right down to the toes!
- Lying on the bed : Perform forward and backward flexes of the foot, then small ankle circles back and forth, followed by large circles back and forth. Repeat each movement 10 times while breathing calmly.
- Upright (one hand leaning against the wall if necessary): move up and down on tiptoes, 10 times slowly and 10 times faster. Then keep the heels on the ground and lift the front of the foot 10 to 20 times.
Before going out: prepare them for the cold outside
To avoid having your feet in ice cube mode as soon as you step outside, warm your socks by placing them on the radiator for a few minutes. We take the opportunity to hydrate our feet by rubbing them with sweet almond oil in which we have diluted a few drops of essential oil of cypress, beneficial for the circulation.
At the end of the day: we relax them with a foot bath
In a basin of hot water, put an effervescent pebble for foot bath or pour a small handful of coarse salt with a few drops of lavender essential oil. Immerse your feet in it and try to relax for ten minutes by breathing calmly (we teach you how to breathe well here). For optimal relaxation, place a small, firm ball (golf ball style) in the basin and roll it under one foot, then the other, in all directions and over their entire surface.

Before sleeping: pamper them with a massage
Vigorously rub his hands together to warm them up and apply a rich cream or vegetable oil to each foot.
- Rub the plant with the fist, from the heel to the toes.
- With thumbs, massage in small circular movements, from the heel to the toes.
- Palm the heel then squeeze it to restart blood circulation.
- Then enter each fingert of foot between thumb and forefinger, starting with the big toe. Press from the base of the toe up to the base of the nail, then pinch on each side of the nail before releasing sharply.
- Finish by kneading each toe for a long time and turning it around, as if to dislocate it.
3 anti-frozen foot tips
- During the day, move your toes regularly to restart blood circulation in the extremities.
- No more socks, stockings or tights that are too tight to prevent venous return. Ditto for shoes whose sole must also be thick enough to insulate the feet from the cold.
- Wear woolen socks. If necessary, superimpose 2 thin pairs (provide a spare if you sweat a lot).
Warning : If your toes suddenly become cold, numb, white, do not hesitate to consult a dermatologist. You may be suffering from Raynaud’s disease. Your doctor will prescribe vasodilators if necessary to improve blood circulation.
