This is one of the latest health security scandals … In some regions, thetap water would be contaminated with residues of pesticides, arsenic, nitrates, heavy metals, drug residues … Among these substances, some are recognized as carcinogenic (arsenic, nitrates if they are broken down into nitrosamines in the body) while others are suspected (some pesticides). The solution: find out about the quality of the water (especially the nitrate content) and the origin of the water in your city, or drink bottled water, taking care not to leave it in the sun or keep it too long.
