On November 20, singer Alain Chamfort performed at the annual gala of the Vaincre le cancer association. In an interview with the newspaper Medisite, the 70-year-old man spoke about his relationship to the disease, and said he had been affected by a pathology of the bones, now cured.
He first explained why he was this year’s sponsor of the gala. the Cancer touched his mother, and the mother of his three eldest children: Clémentine, Gary and Lucas, overcame breast cancer a few years ago.

Then he said he himself was affected by a bone disease two years ago, the name of which he does not specify. At the time, the singer had not really communicated on the subject. He explains that he underwent treatment and considers himself lucky to be fully recovered today, the disease having been detected in time.
The singer then developed on his way of life, more sporty and healthier since his remission. These are the two pieces of advice that are given to patients with osteoporosis. This pathology affects 25% of women aged 50 and 50% of women over 75 in France. It weakens the bones resulting in frequent ruptures, especially in the wrists, the neck of the femur, the vertebrae, with daily pain greater than normal.
