Beyoncé’s diet: the principle
To keep the figure, Beyoncé follows a simple diet: she eats only fruits, vegetables, vegetable proteins and seeds. A 100% vegan diet that celebrates the kale, chia seeds and other trendy foods like quinoa or detox vegetables. “If a Texan like me can do it, anyone can do it,” she promises in the book * written by her coach Marco Borges and for which she signed the preface. The idea: it would take 22 days, thanks to a detailed nutritional program, to totally change your habits and become a happy and healthy vegan. Exit therefore gluten, dairy products, meat, eggs or fish, not to mention all industrial foods. So on his plate: vegetal and home made, nothing but home made.
Beyoncé’s diet: recipes, blog, etc …
For those who would like to learn from the American star, 65 recipes are available in the book. The blog www.22daysnutrition.com, which accompanies the program also allows to be delivered (in the United States only for the moment), small fresh dishes (count more than 500 € for 3 weeks of menus), as well as vegetable protein powders, energy bars or protein and squash seeds do you want some here. According to the star’s words, this diet would be beneficial for both health and the line. “I am so happy to have taken on this challenge and I thank Marco for giving us a good example. He is the most energetic person I know, and it is because of his choice to live a balanced lifestyle. He came up with a perfect program to motivate people to make better nutritional choices. You just have to try. “
So, for or against? The opinion of Virginie Balès, dietician-nutritionist
“I completely adhere to the idea that it is essential for our health, and therefore our line, to limit as much as possible any processed and industrialized food. In addition, we eat too much animal protein. With a little knowledge and attention, it is quite possible to have a very balanced diet without animal protein, gluten and dairy free. I am therefore completely certain that this 22-day cure is very beneficial to everyone, especially since they recommend seeds and foods that are very interesting from a nutritional point of view. But beware: taking a 22-day break from poor food hygiene doesn’t help much if you resume it afterwards. For a lasting result, you will need to keep most of the changes: lots of fruits, vegetables and seeds, little animal protein and processed foods. “
And finally I find it a bit unfortunate that finally a large part of the concept is based on the purchase of product certainly without GMOs, gluten, soya but industrial production anyway …
