A nice lunch or a light evening meal.
Ingredients

1 small onion

1/2 clove of garlic

1 small jar of kidney beans

1/2 dried chili pepper

2 tablespoons liquid margarine

2 slices of country bread or brown bread

cress (alfalfa is also allowed)

1 tomato

1/2 avocado

little spinach
-
little olive oil

salt

Preparation
- Rinse the brown beans and let them drain. Crush the beans with a fork.
- Chop the onion very finely.
- Mix the onion with the beans.
- Squeeze the garlic on top and crumble the chilli on top.
- Mix everything well and form 4 flat discs.
- Heat the margarine in a frying pan with a non-stick bottom and fry the bean burgers until hot and brown.
- Toast the bread if desired.
- Spread the spinach, sliced and cleaned avocado and tomato slices on a slice of bread.
- Drizzle with olive oil and a little salt and pepper.
- Place the warm bean burger on top and sprinkle with the cress.
- Place the second slice of bread on top.
