Preparation
- Cut the bagels in half using a sharp knife. Reheat them in the toaster or for a few minutes under the broiler.
- Cut the red onion, cherry tomatoes and green beans into small cubes. Mix with the olive oil, Espelette pepper and parsley. Place a slice of raw ham on the bottom half of each bagel, divide the diced vegetables, add the second slice of ham and close the bagel.
Health tips
Once degreased (super easy using a pair of scissors to remove the white fat from the outside of the slices), raw ham provides excellent protein content (+ 20%), as well as a little iron, anti-fatigue, and zinc, which promotes healing.
