Why does it work?
The bark of the chestnut tree owes its action to esculoside, and its fruits to aescin.
These two compounds exert a vasoregulatory action by reducing the permeability of the blood capillaries.
How to use it?
In herbal tea. Count 1 teaspoon of bark per cup of cold water. Boil for five minutes, then let steep for about ten minutes.
Drink two cups a day until symptoms decrease.
In a compress. Put 40? G of bark and fruits in 1 liter of cold water.
