François Hollande has appointed Professor Agnès Buzyn to head the High Authority for Health. This body draws up recommendations for medical practice.

Under his chairmanship, INCa devised a new system to improve equity and speed of access to innovative drugs for patients with cancer and in a situation of treatment failure. This program called “AcSé” (Secure access to innovative therapies) has experienced a first positive assessment.
And in order to keep in touch with these patients, Agnès Buzyn has chosen to keep an activity of hematology consultation at the Saint-Antoine hospital of the AP-HP (Paris 12e). A passion for the world of health that is shared with the family because she is also the wife of Yves Lévy, the current President and CEO of Inserm (National Institute for Health and Medical Research).
