A Mi 16 engine, a Turbo 16 look
And so that the plumage is up to this ramage totaling 160 hp – against 130 hp for the swiftest 205 GTI -, the hull of the lioness sports a wide body kit from the catalog of the German trainer Gutmann. Manly attributes of a set called Turbo-Look, which tries, as far as possible, to bring this 205, born in the form of a GTI in 1988, to a Peugeot 205 Turbo 16, the star of rallies in Group B of the 1980s.
When the counters see red!
On board this Peugeot 205 GTI Mi 16, the red carpet and the original black leather upholstery have been preserved, the personal touch of the preparer takes the form ofspecific Gutmann instrumentation characterized by red meter backs and a graduated tachometer up to 260 km / h.

A preparation that doubles the price of the car
The cost of such preparation was very high at the time since it alone approached the price of a new 205 GTI, ie 99,800 F (15,214 €). It was therefore necessary to double the stake and count on a total of 200,000 F (30,000 €) to drive a Guttman version. A very attractive price which certainly explains the low distribution of this type of model, which also and above all had to be assumed on a daily basis. It was obviously much easier to do across the Rhine.
“The auctioneer of the house Aguttes fixed an estimate between 20,000 and 40,000 €“
