A 32-year-old patient from the American Hospital of Paris, located in Neuilly-sur-Seine, was raped by a nurse. The latter allegedly drugged her instead of giving her his medication. Already convicted of sexual assault, he was dismissed and indicted.
The American hospital of Neuilly-sur-Seine, very popular with stars, is at the heart of a much less glowing affair. A 49-year-old nurse has been indicted and imprisoned for the rape of a patient. The facts date back to last February, according to The Parisian.
The 32-year-old is admitted to hospital at the beginning of February for serious health problems, in particular for epilepsy. One evening, the nurse in question brought him his medication. Then she falls asleep. Then everything is blurry.
“Sorry darling”
The patient feels as if she feels the nurse’s hands on her body. But, completely stunned by the treatment, she did not react. The next day, she feels pain, especially in the lower abdomen. She begins to doubt but initially believes in a hallucination. She then discovers a text message received on her cell phone: “Sorry my dear”. The sender of the message is not saved in his directory.
The young woman then asks a doctor if her treatment can cause hallucinations. The practitioner is categorical: it is impossible. The drugs she took therefore strongly resemble drugs intended to put her to sleep. She decides to file a complaint.

The nurse already convicted of sexual assault
The investigators go back very easily to the 49-year-old nurse with the message received on the patient’s phone. His name is listed in the Judicial file of perpetrators of sexual offenses (Fijais). He was convicted of sexual assault seven years ago on a vulnerable person. The suspect, indicted and imprisoned, denies the rape. The hospital management fired him.
Rapist’s drug?
It is not known what substance the patient ingested. What we do know is that GHB, ketamine and Zolpidem, a powerful hypnotic, are drugs that are still very popular with rapists, especially in the evening. These substances stun victims and make them vulnerable.
Faced with this scourge, some are imagining ways to detect the presence of these drugs, especially in glasses. A nail polish, for example, changes color on contact with GHB, ecstasy or even ketamine. American high school girls in Miami have also imagined a straw that also changes color on contact with these drugs. In France, a woman is raped every seven minutes.
