December 12, 2005 – Do you want to help children less fortunate in life? That your donations are used all year round? You can give generously to the Guignolée du Dr Gilles Julien, Saturday December 17, 2005, for the benefit of young people in need.
Led by Dr Julien, a pioneer of social pediatrics in Canada, the organization Assistance enfants en difficulty1 (AED) offers, 365 days a year, services to children of poor families, mainly in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighborhood in Montreal.
Your donations can take the form of gift certificates, show tickets, toys and books in good condition, etc. The monetary donations will be used, among other things, to transport the children, to register for camps and other activities. These young people will thus have the opportunity to get away from their daily lives and have exciting experiences.
To make your donations, you can go, Saturday, December 17, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the AED offices, located at 1600 Aylwin Street, in Montreal (H1W 3B8). You can also send a check made out to the attention of ACN at the same address. For more information, do not hesitate to contact them at (514) 528-8488.
The Guignolée du Dr Julien is sponsored this year by actor Christian Bégin.
