April 7, 2011 – Is There Too Much Nutrition Information? What are the best ways to reach young parents to talk to them about nutrition?
In April, “Tout le monde à table” (TLMAT) is continuing its vast survey on the eating behaviors of Quebec families and is interested in their sources of nutrition information. This project, led by nutritionists from Extenso, focuses on the eating behaviors of children aged 0 to 12 and their families.
Anyone who is willing to share their experiences and opinions are welcome to do so on the TLMAT website. The answers will be used for a large research project led by nutritionists from Extenso, from the University of Montreal.

March poll results
In March, TLMAT asked you to assess your cooking and nutrition skills. “The vast majority of people surveyed have great confidence in their culinary skills and their knowledge of nutrition,” says Nathalie Jobin, nutritionist and project manager at Everyone at the Table. Of the 866 respondents, approximately 78% gave themselves a score of 4 or more out of 5 for their knowledge of nutrition and cooking.
