In the morning, draw vital energy as soon as you wake up
The ideal is to get up early (8 am at the most, ideally at dawn): the very beginning of the morning (6 am-10am) is indeed a “Vata” period, where the energy is strong, but also pure and pure. slight. The body is rested, recharged with energy, cleansed of toxins, and breathing is good. The awakening will be gentle, giving yourself a few seconds to accept this new day and smile at him in advance: positive as soon as you open your eyes! In order, we will then go to the toilet (we recommend the evacuation of stools every day at the same time), then clean the tongue (with a tongue scraper that allows the elimination of toxins and waste accumulated on it. here), and oil the whole body with a specific massage oil for each dosha (see our massage section). After a large glass of heated water (to wake up the digestive system), we move on to a little gentle physical exercise (about 20 minutes of walking, yoga, gym or qi-gong), before taking your baby lunch then his shower … and start the day.
At noon, take a relaxing break
At work, we recommend staying as calm as possible, limiting the pressure as much as possible to save energy. We stop at noon for a generous lunch (this is the main meal) around 12 p.m. (12:30 p.m. maximum), when the Agni (digestive fire) is the strongest, which allows a much better digestion and assimilation of nutrients. . We then take a little walk, then a 20-minute nap, lying on the left side so as not to disturb digestion before resuming work full of energy.
In the afternoon, optional snack
At the end of the day, we chase away stress, by walking to connect with Nature, but also by practicing a creative activity, by surrounding himself with his family and friends … A vata person will need a snack: he must feed himself several times during the day (always in small quantities). If you are pitta can be satisfied with 3 meals a day, no need for a snack because it eats in quantity and digests well. Moreover, he is hungry at mealtime, which he often even awaits with impatience and appetite! The kapha is a born nibbler. She just has to watch what she eats so as not to swallow anything and gain weight.
In the evening, prepare for quality sleep
The evening dinner, eaten early (ideally at sunset) will be warm but light, in order to do not overload the digestive system and sleep well : soup, vegetables, dairy products will be more than enough. Because the night heals, repairs, rebuilds, we must make sure to sleep well, ideally by going to bed around 10 p.m. maximum in order to be able to have a good night’s sleep and wake up early fresh and refreshed. Vata is usually exhausted in the evening and doesn’t hang around too much, while Pitta is relatively in good shape and Kapha, more of a “night owl”, has trouble going to bed early … hence his problems emerging. morning.
