Alpine unveils a new special edition of the A110, inspired by the yellow and black livery of the 1975 Tour de Corse berlinetta. This limited series of 150 copies is already available on the Alpine configurator at a price of €80,000.
After the limited editions South Beach Colorway and Jean Rédélé, Alpine draws, faster than its shadow, a new special edition of the A110. Dressed in yellow, black and white, this one pays homage to the berlinetta n° 7 which finished second in the 1975 Tour de Corse in the hands of Jean-Pierre Nicolas and Vincent Laverne, after a merciless duel with the Lancia Stratos of the Darniche/Mahé crew and a rally, only 22 of the 77 cars at the start saw the finish.

Alpine, it’s not just blue
The livery of this new arrival is faithful to that of the A110 1800 Group 4 from which it is inspired, whether it is a question of the cutting of the colors, the black front bonnet or the oblique side stripes, even if the number and the sponsors disappear. The rims of the car are not orange like those of the rally model, but this color is used for the brake calipers as a nod behind the white 18-inch Grand Prix wheels. The left front wing is badged “Tour de Corse 75”, but the widened wheel arches of the 1975 coupé are not part of it. For that, it would rather be necessary to turn to the young trainer Ravage.
An exclusive interior finish
The Alpine A110 Tour de Corse 75 shares its 300 hp engine and sharp chassis with the A110 S. It is equipped with Sabelt bucket seats on which the name of this edition is embroidered. The black leather/alcantara upholstery is contrasted by its white topstitching, as well as by the yellow inserts on the door trims. A numbered plate is affixed to the center console to indicate that this version of the berlinetta is limited to 150 units. These will go on sale via the Alpine mobile application on June 17, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at a unit price of €80,000.
Alpine inspired by its fans?
As early as 2017, when the current Alpine A110 had only been announced with the Vision concept car, the independent designer Monholo Oumar had already produced an illustration of the vehicle in a livery similar to that of the 1975 Tour de Corse berlinetta. Enough to get a fairly precise idea of the car to come. In addition, during the gathering “1,000 Alpine for the 100th anniversary of Jean Rédélé” in Dieppe, at the end of May 2022, Murielle, owner of an A110, proudly posed alongside her coupé sporting the finery of the legendary rally car, a craze to which the manufacturer was obviously not insensitive. In addition to the performance of the Alpine-Renault team in the Tour de Corse, the year 1975 was also that of the ultimate coronation of the A110 at the end of the French rally championship, in the hands of private driver Jacques Henry.
