New price increase in May 2022 for the Dacia Spring, Jogger, Sandero and Sandero Stepway. The increase goes from 150 to 600 € according to the configurations. The Spring, the least expensive model, suffers the highest inflation.
The prices of new cars continue to rise, driven by shortages of semiconductors, difficulties in supplying raw materials and the war in Ukraine. Despite its “entry-level” positioning, Dacia is no exception and now announces monthly price increases. This is once again the case in May 2022, and this increase concerns the entire range, with the exception of the Duster, at least according to the information already available.
The basic Spring is approaching €20,000
In proportion to the price, the most significant increase concerns the Dacia Spring. After last month’s extra €1,000, the electric city car sees its price increase by €600, whatever the version. The city car therefore starts at €19,290 for individuals in the Comfort finish. If it remains the cheapest electric on the market, far ahead of the Volkswagen e-up! (€24,690) for example, it is nevertheless difficult to forget that it was launched at €16,990 in 2020.

€600 increase for the Dacia Jogger
The Dacia Jogger just marketed also undergoes a price increase of 600 € on all its versions, except for the entry-level Essential Eco-G 100 5 places which still takes 500 €.

The Sandero not spared in LPG
The bi-fuel gasoline-LPG engine requires €150 more than before under the hood of the Sandero and Sandero Stepway. Finally, note that the Jogger, Sandero and Duster equipped with the MediaNav system are no longer available with smartphone replication via Wi-Fi due to a lack of electronic chips; replication requires a cable.
