A rare 1964 Citroën HY bodied by Theault is for sale for nearly €50,000 on a Dutch website. The French utility vehicle, here in a version intended for transporting horses, has been restored for 10 years. The model is in concours condition.
The Citroën Type H continues to inspire. It’s so popular that an Italian craftsman by the name of Caselani has resurrected the myth and comes up with a body kit to transform the Jumpy or Jumper into the modern-day Type H. But the model that interests us here was not born in 3and millennium. This is a unique 1964 copy.

Original petrol engine
During its career between 1948 and 1981, the Type H was available with several petrol or diesel engines. The van opposite is fitted with the four-cylinder 1911 cc petrol engine3, which developed 48 hp when it left the factory. Power is sent to the front wheels through a three-speed manual transmission. Without specifying the mileage, this rare Citroën HY is offered at the price of 49 950 €. The utility will come with its properly documented maintenance history.
