The prices of the Cupra Leon increase sharply to start at €39,500. The sports compact range is now crowned by a VZ Cup finish equipped with exclusive bucket seats and copper aesthetic details, in 5-door as in station wagon, in gasoline as in plug-in hybrid.
After a moderate increase of €90 in the summer of 2021, Cupra is once again raising the prices of its sports Leon. Inflation is at a completely different level at the start of 2022 since it will from 1,460 to 1 630 € depending on the version. All engines are concerned, in compact sedan as in Sportstourer station wagon. Added to this is the increase in the ecological penalty affecting 100% thermal models, with a minimum tax ranging from €2,918 to €10,488 depending on the mechanism chosen according to the 2022 scale, compared to €2,049 to €8,254 in 2021 The plug-in hybrid versions still benefit from an ecological bonus of €1,000 for any order placed before 1er next July.

If the V (Viajero) and VZ (Veloz) finishes are still in the catalog, the offer is now topped by the VZ Cup configuration with a presentation that is as neat as it is sporty, only offered for the most powerful engines.

Sports seats and copper details for the VZ Cup
The new VZ Cup finish can be recognized by the coppery carbon fiber adorning its mirror caps and its roof spoiler in the 5-door version. It also has 19-inch two-tone black/copper rims, dark aluminum side sills and the Supersport steering wheel with “satellite” buttons. Copper stitching adorns the dashboard. It also receives the Cup Bucket seats, inaugurated on the Formentor VZ5. Positioned lower than those of other finishes, these bucket seats have a carbon fiber shell and black or blue leather upholstery.
The catalog of Cupra Leon options remains provided and includes in particular adaptive cruise control, active chassis control and the high-performance Brembo braking system.
