Researchers from the University of Queensland (Australia), behind this study published in the Nature magazinesurveyed 1,538 Australians aged 18 to 70 about their weekly habits and assessed their mental and physical health.
Results: the moments spent in green spaces, parks or in the countryside offered physical, psychological and social well-being to the volunteers. Indeed, being in contact with the nature would decrease the stressmental fatigue and would encourage physical activity.

“If each of us went to a park for half an hour every week, there would be 7% fewer cases of depression and 9% fewer cases of high blood pressure,” says Dr. Danielle Shanahan, principal research author.
