There is a known feature of iMessage in beta coming soon to WhatsApp. This makes it easier to keep an overview.
WhatsApp is master when it comes to chat apps, but that does not mean that Facebook’s child can learn something. The service will soon come with a new function that has already been introduced earlier iMessage was available: Like individual posts. Chats should become a lot clearer as a result.
WhatsApp gets iMessage function
The function in question is to reply to specific posts without quoting them, so reports WABetaInfo. You can currently respond directly to a message in WhatsApp, but the response will then be at the bottom of the feed.
The iMessage function makes it possible to directly add an emoji to a message in WhatsApp. She therefore gives a user the opportunity to like a specific message, for example, without the comment ending up at the bottom of the feed.
It is not yet known when the chat service wants to roll out the new feature. Instant response to messages is currently in beta. In a few weeks this is expected to be possible on at least iOS and android. The source does not disclose anything about a possible integration of the iMessage function in the web version of WhatsApp.
Of course, everything you do via WhatsApp is end-to-end encrypted. This means that no one from the outside can watch when you like a message; only you and the recipient (or possibly the group app) can see the response. That applies to everything that happens within WhatsApp.
