I previously asked a question about the safety of farmed fish. Now I hear in the news that this fish is not so healthy after all.
How about this?

I can imagine that you are still concerned when you read this. The Nutrition Center has expressed very well what this means exactly and what you need to do to be able to eat fish safely:
According to a study by Wakker Dier, a large part of the farmed fish and shrimp from Southeast Asia contains bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics. Resistant bacteria can make you more difficult to treat if they make you sick.
Antibiotic resistance and nutrition is quite a complex story. This is how it works in short: You can become infected with resistant bacteria in several ways, such as ESBL and MRSA. One is through diet, especially meat and fish. If animals are given antibiotics, the bacteria they carry may eventually become resistant to these antibiotics. If you eat the meat of these infected animals, there is a chance that you yourself will become infected, but we do not know exactly how big that chance is.

Do you also have a question? Then ask one of our experts. Always go to your doctor with urgent questions, the experts are not the right person for that. They also do not diagnose. You can find the other conditions here.
