The Volkner Performance S takes your Chiron or 911 with you
The German Volkner brought this Performance S to the caravan show in Düsseldorf, which took place earlier this month. The nicely dressed demo model has a hydraulically extending garage that is large enough to carry a sports car – for example a Bugatti Chiron. This way you can drive to your holiday destination in a very pleasant manner, to unload the Chiron on site and drive down the boulevard. Or load up a Porsche 911 GT3 and find the local mountain passes.
The price
Don’t be alarmed: the Volkner Mobil Performance S has a price tag of more than 2 million euros. Of this, 300,000 euros is in the custom-made Burmester audio system. The same brand can often be found in cars from Mercedes and Porsche. For the not so modest camper, the German company takes a bus chassis from Volvo. The six-cylinder produces 320 hp and 1,200 Nm, which sounds like enough. You can also take 600 liters of fresh water with you to make your own coffee on the go. Thanks to the built-in toilet, you no longer have to go to those dirty toilets along the Autobahn.
