Electric cars are going to look more and more beautiful, now the engines are also following. Check out this motor that is beautiful, but also electric.
You wouldn’t say it, but this engine comes from a Canadian start-up. The company has Damon Motors. And unveiled a new high-performance, tech-laden machine at the CES 2022 electronics convention in Las Vegas last week. The device is called the HyperFighter.
Motor is electric
Company already had another model, the HyperSport. This was announced two years ago. So far, both machines are in the pre-production phase. Forbes knows that production of the HyperSport should begin in the first half of 2022. The HyperFighter is planned for 2023. Damon Motors is currently building a production facility in Vancouver.
It seems to be a success. The company already has numerous pre-orders for the high-performance HyperSport. This is a fully electric motorcycle. Packed with technology, of course, with robust performance figures. And a number of new safety and comfort functions. Much of which will be transferred to the HyperFighter.
HyperFighter
This good looking bike will use the basic underpinnings of the HyperSport. It will then take on a “naked” or “streetfighter” form factor. This will replace the HyperSports windshield and full-coverage bodywork. And by a more basic headlight and handlebar appearance. The ‘streetfighter’ aesthetic grew out of the ’90s custom motorcycle scene, where bike builders and rebuilders took slightly crashed sports bikes. They are then stripped of their plastic body panels, hence the “naked” connotation. Dirt bike handlebars and a minimum of instruments are characteristic of this style.
